The totals are in! The 2013 Twin Cities Take Steps walk raised $147,449 and counting! This just a little bit shy of our goal of $160,000, and so we do urge everyone to send out one last fundraising letter, to call those people that donated last year but not this year, to make one last plea on social media – with just one last push, we should hit our goal no problem.
Thanks to everyone for all their hard work on this year’s Take Steps Twin Cities!
THANK YOU to everyone that donated, recruited, and fundraised. Thank you to our sponsors, our in kind donors, our volunteers, and chapter employees. Thank you to the 800+ people who braved the rain to come down and were treated with a beautiful late spring evening as a reward. Thank you to the food trucks, the clowns, the Vikings Cheerleaders, and the Twins, Wild, and Gopher mascots. Thank you to the food and water donors. Thank you to the face painters, the hair sprayers, and the carnival game runners. Thank you to Jeff Passolt and to Herman Jones and the Funk Brothers.
And a very special thank you to Walk Manager, Tovah Domenick – whose leadership made yesterday the phenomenal success it was.
We will post the final donation and attendance totals here soon, and keep an eye on our Facebook page for all of the pictures.
It was a great day, thank you to EVERYONE who made it possible.
We can’t wait until next year…
Tomorrow is the big day! Remember that the walk is rain or shine.
